I am really content.

The best homecoming ever:

Coming home from Belleville and Ottawa and a four hour class with all my bags and after a long day, I unlock my door and enter. Standing on the other side, arms outstretched, is my roommate's wonderfully gay brother. Who I've never met. "Meghan! Give me a squeeze!"

It was awesome.

I have Fridays off.

Instead of getting up at a decent hour and going to the gym, then making a leisurely brunch type meal and getting some reading done, I like to sleep until one. Then screw around on the internet while eating my roommate's cold leftover pasta. Perhaps considering going to purchase the ONLY TEXTBOOK I'll need. But only considering. Because I'm going to see a play at 7. So obviously, at 1:30, I won't have time to go get the book, come back and get ready. Maybe the bookstore is open on Saturday.

Brand new two dollar skirts make my life...

So does:
-my new kickass garbage find
-watching my new roommate and a friend wrestle at the skating rink within three hours of meeting
-spending three lovely days in Ottawa, skating (sliding), girls nighting, dancing (dancing, DANCING!), realizing just how much I like my boyfriend...
-fighting an institution to get the education I want and am paying for... and winning (take THAT! I will design in design, thank you very much).
-being free to make plans without REHEARSAL EVERY NIGHT. Ha!
-actually making plans, instead of just talking about them then watching a movie or something.
-finally being able to download music. God bless you, internet. Well, some of you.
-oh, life is decent when you keep yourself busy with fun.

I think I broke my toe. Ouch.

I woke up at 12:30 today, as my class was cancelled. All I have to accomplish is a shower and to head out with a gift certificate to buy a toaster... and I don't see it happening anytime soon. Lazy lazy lazy.

Went to a birthday party last night. Drank vodka. Yum.

Back to school

I like school.

I like breaks.
